BlindSave Protection Vest with Rebound Control

This time, I wanna write few lines about my favorite piece of my equipment – BlindSave Protection Vest with Rebound Control. It is very comfortable protection vest with nice padding, great feel and air circulation.

There are two types of paddings. The hard ones (which covers the most exposed parts of the upper body – red in the picture bellow) are the “rebound control” area. It is made from two layer material which reduces the impact of the shots and also absorbs a lot of ball’s energy so the rebounds are shorter and slower. When you meet this vest in the market, you will be probably little bit confused because the inlays are very hard in cooler temperature and also doesn’t feel much comfortable on your body until you get a little bit warm. But when you are warmed up, the vest almost melt around your chest and begin to work in the perfect way.

Some soft foam paddings (the blue ones) cover the parts of the body where the harder padding could be uncomfortable. The protection effect is weaker then in the parts with hard inlays but still very good compromise between comfort and protection. Soft padding is also on top of your shoulders, which is not visible on the picture (blue line at the shoulders) and on the neck. As you can see, there is no weak area without any protection.

Inner material is very light and transport your sweat very well. There are also ventilation holes in the armpits area. So you will feel dry all the time. And just as the bonus, even the inner side of the vest has a nice design 😉

The vest is also very durable, all the photos are the actual vest which I bought used two years ago. The black color is washed out a little bit but otherwise it is still in perfect condition. I used it for two seasons mostly cca 7 hours per week and still cannot feel any wearing problem. Good job Andis! 😉
